About Me:

Hey There! I'm Abram Kempner.

An Unstoppable Creative:

Hey there! My name is Abram Kempner, some know me under my alias Hexablu. I’m a graphic designer currently attending Johnson & Wales University.

I like to think of myself as a “Restless Creative”, but by no means do I envision this in a negative way! Making things, designing things, the act of creation itself- is my vehicle through life. Ever since I could pick up a crayon, I haven’t stopped making.

As a lifelong creative, if there is one thing I know for sure, it’s that one of life’s greatest feelings is experiencing your fully realized creative vision. That’s why it is of my utmost importance to bring yours to life with great care and communication.

What makes me different?

What sets me apart is that my industry experience began exceedingly early in my life. In middle school, I began learning Photoshop. In high school, I was doing freelance design work for local clients, such as creating the official logo for the Blanche Ames Elementary School in Easton Massachusetts.

I was also sought out by a charity organization called “Love Tropics” for my creative talent. Annually, I produce graphics and lead teams of volunteers to help in the creation of virtual event experiences to raise money to support environmental causes.

As a first-year student in university, I started my internship at Willwork Global Event Services. There I created graphics, signage and murals for trade shows and conventions across the United States, gaining valuable industry experience and connections.

What does “Hexablu” even mean?

At this point, you’re probably wondering what “Hexablu” means.

And before you ask, worry not- It’s not anything I expect you to refer to me as in the flesh, that would be a bit silly now, wouldn’t it?

“Hexablu” is the online alias I created for myself very early on in my graphic design and game development journey when I was around thirteen years old. A simple combination of my favorite shape and my favorite color became a lasting nickname of mine within online creative communities- even to this day!

Even though some might see it as peculiar, I still like to honor this early name. It’s a personal reminder to never-ever stop creating, no matter what life has in store.
